Epic Wars Confrontation is a living card game (LCG) designed for 2 to 6 players. It includes everything needed to play in the box, with no booster packs or rare cards to hunt for. This makes it affordable and suitable for ages 12 and up. Each deck is ready to go, allowing two players to jump straight into the action. The game’s simplicity, combined with its depth, makes it enjoyable for both single opponents and groups.
Magio Madjerec, a dedicated gamer, spent over 10 years designing and refining Epic Wars Confrontation. His design philosophy was simple: create a game that is easy to learn and fun to play, bringing back the joy of game nights with friends and family. Our Journey with Magio Madjerec
From the moment we first connected with Magio, we were impressed by his passion for his game and his attention to detail. He is incredibly friendly, yet serious about every aspect of his game, and this mutual respect formed the foundation of our collaboration.
One of the biggest challenges we faced in producing EWC was the design of the cardboard life dial. The dial needed to rotate smoothly to display the player’s health, and this detail was crucial for the game’s fluidity. However, early in the production process, we encountered issues where the life dial didn’t rotate as expected.
To ensure the final product met our high standards, we worked closely with Magio, making multiple adjustments and improvements. After extensive testing and fine-tuning, we were able to perfect the design, which not only solved the problem but also strengthened the trust and bond between us.
Additionally, as Magio was new to game distribution, he wasn’t familiar with the best channels for distribution. As a trusted Kickstarter game manufacturer, we shared our experience and introduced him to some of the distribution centers frequently used by our clients. Magio was able to choose the most suitable distributor for EWC, ensuring the game would reach fans worldwide.
EWC Expansion: “Strange Alliances”
The success of EWC didn’t stop there. Magio continued to develop his game by releasing its first expansion—“Strange Alliances”. This expansion added six brand new Heroes, bringing even more strategic depth and variety to the game. Now, players can experiment with different strategies, making EWC even more dynamic and exciting.
